MISS LOUISIANA UNITED STATES 2018

I Lauren “Tula” Poindexter am super excited to announce that I have been selected as the 2018 Miss Louisiana United States!

I am using my crown and platform as a media personality to promote mental health awareness, explore signs and symptoms of mental health conditions and highlight how and where to find help through the content I create and by partnering with organizations who’s mission align with this message.

I had the opportunity to represent this state in the National Pageant and walked away as the winner of the People's Choice Award and placed in the top 16!

For all of my family and friends...I simply want to just say thank you for ALL of the support you guys have shown me in the past!

When I say EVERYTHING happens for a reason and God knew what he was doing...I mean it!

The United States Pageant Organization prides itself in celebrating over 31 years of empowering young girls and women, promoting positive self-image and providing an avenue of achievement for ladies of all ages.

But more importantly are a family, a sisterhood that provides support and encouragement to inspire each delegate to be the best version of herself! They encourage each young girl or woman to give a voice to those needing to be heard, lend a hand to those less fortunate, and be a compass for those daring to dream. At the local, state, and national level, the United States Pageant gives young girls and women the opportunity to promote a platform of community service.
